Late Victorian Old Cut Diamond and Sapphire Three-Stone Ring

A beautiful late Victorian old mine cut diamond and sapphire three stone ring set in 18k yellow gold.

The ring is centrally set with a stunning 1.65-carat old cut vibrant blue sapphire. To either side of this central stone are two perfectly matched old mine diamonds which enhance the size and colour of the sapphire perfectly. Uniquely, between each larger stone are smaller claw set diamonds which add that perfect amount of additional sparkle. All of the stones are claw set elegantly in a filigree scroll mounting which perfectly accentuates the stones. Additionally, once on the hand this filigree scroll design can be seen from all angles which makes the piece more interesting to look at.

The beauty of this piece lies in the design which perfectly enhances and compliments the stunning three old cut stones. Due to how the piece sits on the finger the ring could easily be stacked next to other piece such as a wedding and/or eternity band.

The ring is currently a UK finger size N (roughly a USA finger size 6 1/2) but this can be resized upon request for a perfect fit.

There is an estimated total diamond weight of 1.10 carats. The diamonds have been assessed by our inhouse gemmologist as H-I in colour with VS2-SI clarity. There is a total sapphire weight of 1.65 carats and this is notably a beautiful blue colour. There is a gross weight of 3.7 grams. Due to the age the ring is not signed or hallmarked however has been tested for 18k yellow gold. All the information will be provided in a valuation for insurance and authenticity.
