Vintage Natural Colour Change Sapphire and Diamond Cluster

A beautiful colour change sapphire and diamond cluster ring set in 18k yellow and white gold.

The piece is centrally set with a beautiful colour change purplish-blue cushion mixed cut sapphire; which is eighteen claw set in yellow gold. The sapphire is natural, unheated with unenhanced colour-change (Sri Lankan origin) and changes from purplish-blue to purple. The sapphire is surrounded by a cluster of eighteen old mine cut diamonds, set in a scalloped edged white gold setting. The cluster head sits on a traditional yellow gold band.

Once worn the piece truly comes to life. Due to the oval shaped sapphire the ring elongates the wearers finger which is not only a slimming look but also looks extremely elegant. The sapphire is truly unique and would make the perfect gift.

There is a total sapphire weight of 4.46 carats. There is an estimated total diamond weight of 0.55 carats, estimate H-I in colour with VS-SI clarity. The ring is currently a UK finger size L (USA size 5 ¾) but this can be resized for a perfect fit. There is a total weight of 3.6 grams.
