Vintage Givenchy GIA Certified Sapphire and Diamond Ring

A beautiful vintage Givenchy GIA certified sapphire and diamond ring set in 18k yellow gold.

This highly unique design is centrally set with a GIA certified oval brilliant cut sapphire, described as ‘Royal Blue’ in colouring. The sapphire is securely four claw set, and sided by two perfectly matched marquise brilliant cut diamonds. Encasing the central three stones are 8 calibre cut diamonds. These calibre cut diamonds tie the design together and create this beautiful contemporary take on the traditional cluster ring design. Each shoulder is set with 6 round brilliant cut diamonds which are millegrain set into the yellow gold band.

Once worn the piece truly comes to life. The vibrancy of the central sapphire is spectacular and contrasts beautifully against the diamonds and yellow gold.

The central sapphire has a total weight of 3.70 carats and is GIA certified as being natural with heat treatment (Report number: 2454661653). There is a total diamond weight of 2.65 carats, ranging G-H in colour with VS clarity. The ring is currently a UK finger size K ½ (USA size 5 ½) but this can be resized for a perfect fit. The ring is lastly stamped on the inside with the carat weights S3.70, D2.65, K18 (for 18k gold). Lastly the Givenchy signature/logo is stamped on the back of the band.

For size reference, the head of the ring measures 1.4 x 1.5 centimetres and there is a gross weight of 7.6 grams. The piece is accompanied by a complimentary valuation for insurance and proof of ownership purposes.
