Vintage Cartier GIA Certified Sapphire and Diamond Ring

A truly stunning vintage Cartier GIA certified sapphire and diamond three stone ring set in 18k yellow gold.

The ring is centrally set with a beautiful 2.56ct oval cut sapphire which is four claw set in an elegant open back yellow gold setting. To either side of the sapphire are perfectly matched trillion cut diamonds which are similarly set in a gold claw setting. The contrast of the vibrant blue coloured sapphire against the white diamonds is a beautiful pairing and looks extremely elegant once on the hand.

This design is slightly less traditional compared to other three stones with the sapphire and diamonds being set in a chunky yellow gold band. The band allows other rings to sit flush with the sapphire.

The central oval cut sapphire is GIA certified as being heated, origin Sri Lankan (report number 1395915820), dated August 23rd, 2021. It has a weight of 2.56 carats and has a beautiful colouring to it. The side diamonds are perfectly matched and have a combined carat weight of 0.95 carats. These diamonds are estimated to be F-G in colour with VS clarity. The ring is currently a UK finger size I (USA size 4) but this can easily be resized for the perfect fit.

For size reference the head of the ring measures 0.9 centimetres in thickness. The ring weighs exactly 10.6 grams. It is signed and hallmarked Cartier, 750, with the serial number G79444.
