Vintage Cartier GIA Certified Sapphire and Diamond Ring

A truly stunning vintage Cartier GIA-certified sapphire and diamond three-stone ring set in 18k yellow gold.

The ring is centrally set with a beautiful 2.56ct oval cut sapphire, which is four claw set in an elegant open-back yellow gold setting. To either side of the sapphire are perfectly matched trillion-cut diamonds, which are similarly set in a gold claw setting. The contrast of the vibrant blue sapphire against the white diamonds is a beautiful pairing, and it looks exquisite once on the hand.

This design is slightly less traditional compared to the other three stones, with the sapphire and diamonds being set in a chunky yellow gold band. The band allows other rings to sit flush with the sapphire.

The central oval cut sapphire is GIA certified as being heated, origin Sri Lankan (report number 1395915820), dated August 23rd, 2021. It weighs 2.56 carats and is a beautiful colour. The side diamonds are perfectly matched and have a combined weight of 0.95 carats. These diamonds are estimated to be F-G in colour with VS clarity.

The ring is currently a UK finger size L (USA size 5 ¾), but this can easily be resized for the perfect fit. For size reference, the ring measures approximately 0.8 centimetres in width (the widest point around the head), with a gross weight of 9.4 grams.

The ring is signed and hallmarked Cartier, with a serial number of G79444. Lastly, a valuation for insurance and authenticity will accompany this piece.
