A spectacular colour change Ceylon sapphire and diamond three stone ring in platinum. The ring has double talon claws holding the centre cushion shaped natural unheated and unenhanced colour change Ceylon sapphire which is violetish blue in daylight and purple in incandescent light and is accompanied by a GCS report stating it to weigh 2.78 carats, of Sri Lankan (Ceylon) origin with no indications of heat treatment. Either side of the sapphire is a trapeze cut diamond set in an open back rubover collet that leads to a solid D shape platinum shank with raised shoulders. The diamonds weigh 0.31 carats in total, F/G colour, VS2/SI1 clarity.
