A beautiful vintage Cartier double C diamond brooch set in 18k yellow gold.
The brooch depicts the iconic Cartier double C motif and is pave set throughout with round brilliant cut diamonds. The brooch is secured to reverse with a double pin fitting and catch.
There are 70 round brilliant cut diamond within the brooch estimated to have a total weight of 1.45 carats. These diamond range from F-G in colour with VVS1-VS2 clarity. For size reference the brooch measures 3.5 x 2.5 centimetres and there is a gross weight of 19.7 grams.
The brooch is signed and hallmarked on the side; Cartier, 750, with the serial number 754814. French hallmarks can also be found. The brooch is not accompanied with box or papers but is provided with a valuation for insurance and authenticity purposes.
