Vintage 1992 Love Birds Pearl and Sapphire Brooch in Yellow Gold

A beautiful vintage Love Birds baroque pearl and blue sapphire brooch set in 18k yellow gold from 1992.

The brooch features two robin bird motifs. The main body of the bird is composed of silvery-white baroque pearls. The rest of the bird is made of yellow gold with handcrafted details, with the eye set with round blue sapphires. The shape of the pearls gives the birds a fuller appearance. The brooch is secured to reverse with a pin and roller clap fitting.

Due to the design and size, the brooch beautifully stands out when worn on either a jumper, jacket or shirt. A perfect gift for a bird lover!

For size reference, the brooch measures approximately 3.2 centimetres in length and 1.9 centimetres in width, with a gross weight of 10 grams.
