A beautiful vintage Tiffany & Co. sapphire eyed cat brooch set in 18k yellow gold.
The brooch depicts an adorable kitty cat who is sat upright with its tail curling round the bottom of its feet. The cat has been beautifully hand crafted and cleverly detailed with brushed gold to depict the naturalistic fury features. The cat is solely set with two round cut blue sapphires for eyes which add a small pop of colour to the piece.
A perfect gift for any cat lover! Due to the size and design this brooch would be a perfect addition to a jumper, blouse and/or coat.
The brooch is secured to reverse with a hinged pin and barrel clasp fitting. It measures exactly 2.3 x 4.3 centimetres (from the widest parts) and has a gross weight of 14.2 grams. The brooch is signed and hallmarked in the belly of the cat 18K, TIFFANY & CO. The piece is accompanied by a Tiffany & Co. box. Circa 1960’s.
