A truly stunning GIA certified Burmese ruby and diamond three stone engagement ring set in platinum and 18k yellow gold.
The ring is centrally set with a beautiful 1.90 oval cut ruby which is four claw set in an elegant open back yellow gold setting. To either side of the ruby are perfectly matched pear cut diamonds which are similarly set in a platinum setting. The contrast of the vibrant ‘pigeons blood’ coloured ruby against the white diamonds is a beautiful pairing and looks extremely elegant once on the hand.
This design is a traditional setting and can easily be paired with a wedding and/or eternity band. The ring is signed and stamped ‘TIFFANY & CO’, 750 (for gold), PT950 (for platinum).
The central oval cut ruby is GIA certified (report number 6322347719). It has a weight of 1.90 carats and has been described as a pigeons blood red colour. The side diamonds are perfectly matched and have a combined carat weight of 0.60 carats. These diamonds are estimated to be F-G in colour with VS clarity. The ring is currently a UK finger size L (USA size 5 3/4) but this can easily be resized for the perfect fit.
For size reference the head of the ring measures 0.7 x 1.4 centimetres. The ring weighs exactly 3.6 grams.
