A beautiful vintage Cartier sapphire cross pendant necklace set in 18k white gold.
Fromm the now discontinued Symbol collection ,the pendant depicts a cross motif and is claw set with exactly 11 round cut blue sapphires. The cross hangs from a white gold bail and hangs from a fine 14-16-inch white gold trace chain.
Due to the size and design this cross could be worn for a variety of occasions. The cross could easily be worn for everyday wear or alternatively dressed up for more special occasions.
For size reference the pendant measures 1.3 centimetres in length (bail included) and 0.9 centimetres in width. There is a gross weight of 2.8 grams. There is a total sapphire weight of 0.09 carats, all of which being beautifully matched in colour. The piece is signed and hallmarked on the clasp Cartier, 750, with the serial number YS9470.
