A classic 1950’s diamond and pearl choker necklace set with a 18k white gold floral clasp.
The piece is centrally set with a unique floral plaque which is composed of white gold. The plaque features a mixture of round brilliant cut, old cut and baguette cut diamonds which creates this intricate bouquet motif – a classic design in the 1950’s! The plaque is then situated on a three-row strand of pearls, all of which are beautifully matched in colour and lustre. The length of the choker necklace is currently 17 inches however it can be adjusted for a perfect fit. The bouquet acts as a clasp and is secured with a push mechanism and hidden safety catch!
Once worn the necklace sits beautifully on the neck and the strands graduate perfectly.
There is an estimated total diamond weight is 2.15 carats, ranging H-J colour with SI clarity. All the pearls measure 6.5-7-millimetres and there are 173 total. For size reference the bouquet motif measures 2.6 x 3.2 centimetres (from the widest points) and there is a gross weight of 85.8 grams.
