A beautiful vintage French ruby and sapphire clover pendant set in 18k yellow gold.
The pendant is designed as a clover on top of an openwork double X motif. Each of the four clover leaves is bezel set with a circular cabochon sapphire and embellished with a hammered beaded finish. To the corner of each X are cabochon rubies which beautifully contrast the blue sapphires. The pendant is fitted on a drop bail.
The pendant is an impressive size measuring 7.3 x 7.3 centimetre. Because of this the pendant is extremely striking once on the neck.
The pendant is stamped with French hallmarking’s for 18k gold, FRANCE. There is an estimated total sapphire weight of 5.18 carats. There is an estimated total ruby weight of 4.70 carats.
