A dramatic Edwardian pearl and diamond openwork heart-shape brooch in platinum. This brooch features a round pearl with approximately 7.9mm at the centre, amidst an openwork heart grain-set and millegrain-set throughout with Old Mine-cut, Old European brilliant-cut, single-cut and rose-cut diamonds, decorated with stylised scrolled and floral motifs. The brooch is secured to reverse with a hinged pin and trigger clasp fitting. The pearl is approximately 7.9mm, cream with pinkish overtone, not tested for natural or cultured origin.
The diamonds are approximately 1.87 carats in total, F-H colour and VS/SI clarity.
