Vintage Tiffany & Co. Ruby and Diamond Three Stone Ring

A beautiful ruby and diamond trilogy engagement ring set in 18k yellow gold and platinum.

This classic engagement ring design is centrally set with a stunning round cut ruby which is four claw set in an open back triple setting. The ruby is then flanked to each side by two perfectly matched round brilliant cut diamonds, these however are set in platinum to enhance their white colouring. The diamond settings then lead to a solid 2 millimetre yellow gold band.

The ruby in this ring is extremely elegant. The contrast of the vibrant red against the white diamonds and yellow gold shank makes the piece such a striking ring to wear. Because the setting is slightly raised it can easily be stacked with other rings such as an eternity or wedding band.

There is an estimated total ruby weight of 0.30 carats. There is an estimated total combined diamond weight of 0.36 carats (0.18 carats each) which are assessed G-H in colour with VVS clarity. The ring is currently a UK finger size K 1/2 (USA finger size 5 ½) but this can be resized for a perfect fit. The ring is signed and hallmarked TIFFANY & CO, 750, PT950.

For size referent the head of the ring measures 0.4 X 1.0 centimetres and there is a gross weight of exactly 3.0 grams.
