A beautifully handcrafted vintage Tiffany & Co. bug brooch set in 18k yellow and white gold.
The bee’s body has been hand carved in a beautiful ridged textured design. The wings are set with millegrain round brilliant cut diamonds which add the perfect amount of sparkle to the little critter. Lastly the bug is accented with two round cut vibrant ruby eyes.
The brooch is secured to reverse with a simple yet secure pin fitting. Due to the design of the piece it could be worn for a variety of occasions!
There is an estimated total diamond weight of 0.20 carats. These are estimated as G/H in colour with VVS-VS clarity. For size reference the bee measures 1.9 x 2.5 centimetres and there is a gross weight of 5.0 grams. The brooch is signed and hallmarked 18k, Tiffany & Co. Estimated to be circa 1980’s.
