A breathtaking vintage Tiffany & Co. gem set thistle brooch in 18-karat yellow gold, circa 1993. The brooch is designed as a stylized thistle composed of an amethyst cabochon head surrounded by circular pink tourmaline stamen, issuing yellow sapphire leaves, the thistle’s head leading to a polished yellow gold stem which is accented with a round brilliant-cut diamond at the bottom. Dimensions: 4.0×2.5cm.
Amethyst approximately 7.0 carats. Yellow sapphires approximately 2.4 carats in total. Pink tourmalines approximately 1.2 carats in total. Diamond approximately 0.10 carats.
