Vintage Panthère de Cartier Pendant Necklace

A beautiful vintage Panthère de Cartier Lacquer and tsavorite garnet pendant necklace set in 18k white gold.

The necklace predominantly features a white gold disc which has been beautifully handcrafted with openwork detailing and enamel inlay. This beautiful black enamel inlay depicts Cartier’s iconic panther motif. The design is simple yet incredibly effective and the contrast of the black and gold colouring is extremely striking once on the neck. Lastly the panther is rub over set with a singular pear cut green tsavorite garnet. The pendant hangs on a black silk cord which is easily adjusted to any desired length (the necklace can be worn at a maximum length of 30 centimetres).

Due to the elegance of the design this piece could be worn for a variety of occasions. It could easily be worn as an everyday piece of jewellery, or alternatively, dressed up for more special occasions.

The pendant is signed and hallmarked Cartier, 750, with the serial number OF9067. Circa 2008. For size reference the pendant measures 3.8 centimetres in width and there is a gross weight of 17.8 grams (cord included). The cord clasp is also signed and hallmarked 750 with the Cartier logo. This piece is accompanied with papers.
