Vintage Cartier Diamond Agrafe Necklace in White Gold

A beautiful vintage Cartier diamond ‘Agrafe’ necklace set in 18k white gold.

The piece is composed of an articulated chain design paved with 320 brilliant-cut diamonds, totalling 6.88 carats which reflect the light elegantly whilst worn on the neck. The necklace is secured with a hinged hook fitting which folds onto a larger gold loop. This hook fitting can either be worn hidden at the back of the neck or round the front as a detachable pendant ‘feature’. The central removable pendant features 83 round-brilliant cut diamonds totalling 1.68carats.

The chain measures 42 centimetres in length (16.5 inches) and 0.4 centimetres in thickness. The necklace has a gross weight of 55.7 grams. The necklace is signed and hallmarked Cartier, 750, with the serial number 53794C. These markings can be found on the hook clasp.

The necklace is presented in it’s original fitted box which was specially made for it.
