South Sea Pearl Strand Necklace with White Gold Diamond Clasp

A sensational white South Sea pearl strand necklace with an elegant ball clasp in 18k white gold with diamonds.

The necklace is set with 27 round South Sea pearls with a smooth gradient in size. The strand is knotted between the pearls to protect them from scratching each other. It is then secured with a brushed white gold ball clasp, set with 12 round brillant-cut diamonds.

South Sea pearls are one of the largest and finest quality cultured pearls. These pearls displayed a white body colour and a pinkish-silver overtone, which shows a natural settle iridescence glow under lights. The natural growth marks of the pearls bring the necklace character and uniqueness, showcasing its natural oceanic nacre.

The pearls measure approximately between 1.9 and 1.4 centimetres in diameter, and it is rare to find a strand of this large with a perfectly matched gradient in size. The estimated total weight of the diamonds is 0.12 carats, ranging from G-H in colour with VVS clarity.
