A beautiful vintage Van Cleef & Arpels carnelian Alhambra pendant necklace set in 18k yellow gold from 2019.
The pendant is set with the iconic Alhambra design. It hangs from a 16.54-inch yellow-gold trace chain, secured with a lobster claw fastening. Inspired by icons of luck, the clover leaf. The design is simple and timelessly elegant, elevated by bead detailing around the orangey-red carnelian.
Due to its design and size, this piece can be worn for a variety of occasions. It is suitable for both everyday and special occasions.
For size reference, the pendant measures approximately 1.5 centimetres in diameter. The necklace measures 39 to 42 centimetres in length (with a jump ring), with a gross weight of 4.9 grams.
The necklace is signed and hallmarked VCA, Au750 (for 18k gold), with the serial number JA701395. Lastly, this piece is accompanied by the original certificate (dated 2019) and box, as well as a valuation for insurance and authenticity.
