La Belle Epoque Enamel, Pearl and Diamond Necklace

An iconic La Belle Epoque enamel, pearl and diamond necklace in 18-karat yellow gold and platinum. This exquisite turn-of-the-century piece of jewellery features a guilloche-enamelled pink flower millegrain-set to the centre with an Old Mine-cut diamond, with stylised leaf sprays decorated with green, white and blue enamel issuing from the central flower and curving downwards, with a smaller natural grey pearl at the centre of the motif, above a similarly-enamelled blue bellflower suspending two yellow gold curb link chains terminating in round grey pearl drops. The central piece is attached to a figaro chain designed as a sequence of three short yellow gold links spaced by a longer oval platinum link, to a rose-cut diamond-set barrel clasp fitting. Diamond approximately 0.03 carats. Larger pearls approximately 5.6-5.7mm. Smaller pearl approximately 3mm.
