A stylish vintage Albert chain set in 18k yellow gold.
The Albert chain is an iconic statement piece of jewellery, popularised by Prince Albert in the mid 1800’s. The chain traditionally was attached to a gentleman’s pocket watch, however in today’s society they are worn as a statement necklace! The chain is composed of a solid 18k flat link yellow gold chain with a central bar which hangs from a bail. The chain is fastened by two swivel hook fittings.
The chain measures 40 centimetres in length and there is a gross weight of 62.5 grams. The chain is hallmarked with 18 for 18k yellow gold.
