Vintage Van Cleef & Arpels Diamond Papillon Ring

A fabulous vintage Van Cleef & Arpels diamond ‘Papillon’ ring set in 18k yellow gold.

The ring is beautifully crafted in 18k yellow gold and is centrally set with a marquise brilliant cut diamond. The marquise is securely four claw set amongst a butterfly motif, with the little wings being made of two round brilliant cut diamonds to each side. The shoulders are ridged which looks lovely once on the finger.
