Vintage Boucheron Ruby and Diamond Ring

A beautiful vintage Boucheron ruby and diamond trilogy ring set in 18k yellow gold.

This classic ring design is centrally set with a vibrant 3.88 carat oval cut ruby and is four claw set in an open back triple setting. The beautiful ruby is then flanked to each side by two perfectly matched trillion cut diamonds which are also claw set. The diamonds then lead to a solid 2-millimetre yellow gold band.

The ruby in this ring is simply beautiful. The contrast of the vibrant red against the white diamonds and yellow gold shank makes the piece such a striking ring to wear. Because the setting is slightly raised it can easily be stacked with other rings. The ring would make a perfect engagement ring or dress/cocktail ring.

There is a total ruby weight of 3.88 carats and has a beautiful vibrancy to it. Both are estimated to be 0.30 carats each (0.60 in total), ranging F-G in colour with VVS clarity. The ring is currently a UK finger size K ½ (USA size 5 ½) but this can easily be resized for a perfect fit upon request. Total weight is 4.1 grams. For size reference the head of the ring measures 1.1 x 1.6 centimetres. The ring is made by the established jewellers Boucheron and is signed and hallmarked on the band.
