A beautiful pair of aquamarine drop earrings set in 18k yellow gold.
Each earring solely features an elegant faceted oval aquamarine (referred to commonly as a checkerboard cut) stone which is securely rub over set. This faceted/checkerboard design gives the aquamarine a remarkable ‘shimmer’ once on the ear making them an incredibly versatile pair of earrings to wear. The drop is soldered onto a decorative Shepard’s hook post.
Due to their design and size these earrings could easily be worn for everyday or dressed up for more special occasions.
For size reference the earrings measure 1.4 x 1.0 centimetres and have a combined weight of 6.9 grams. There is an estimated total aquamarine weight of 9.80 carats, and both are perfectly matched in colour. Each earring is hallmarked 18k.
