A highly unique vintage pair of Van Cleef & Arpels coral and diamond clip on hoop earrings set in 18k yellow gold.
These beautiful hoops are composed in a graduated circular motif and set to the centre with a carved pinkish-orange piece of coral. The coral can be described as being Salmon in colour and has been beautifully carved to fit perfectly in the hoop shape.
Towards the front of the hoop are 14 round brilliant cut diamonds which highlight the coral colour nicely. The earrings are secured to reverse with a clip fitting.
Due to the size and design these are a truly unique pair of earring! They could be worn for a variety of occasions.
There is an estimated total diamond weight of 0.85 carats, estimated E-F in colour with VVS clarity. Each earring is signed and hallmarked VCA, 750, with matching serial numbers B3058K25. For size reference the hoops measure 2.1 in diameter and there is a gross weight of 11.2 grams. Estimated late 1970’s.
