A sophisticated pair of Art Deco Colombian emerald, diamond and enamel drop earrings in platinum and yellow gold, circa 1930. Each earring features a certified pear-shape Colombian emerald millegrain-set in an open-back yellow gold collet, within a platinum frame grain-set throughout with old single-cut diamonds. This drop of a halo design is suspending from a series of diamond-set platinum spacers and an openwork black enamel roundel, below a circular surmount accented with black enamel and a circular cabochon emerald rubover-set to the centre. The earrings are secured to reverse with a post and butterfly fitting. Accompanied by fitter box. Dimensions: 4.7cm.
Main emeralds accompanied by a GCS report stating they are 4.57 carats in total, Colombian. Diamonds approximately 0.45 carats in total, G-I colour, VS-SI clarity. Cabochon emeralds approximately 0.06 carats in total.
