A handcrafted sapphire and diamond bee brooch in 18-karat white and yellow gold. The bee’s thorax is composed of a rubover-set oval sapphire within a halo of grain-set round brilliant-cut diamonds, the wings pave-set throughout with diamonds, with the abdomen composed of alternating rows of millegrain-set calibre-French-cut sapphires and round brilliant-cut diamonds. The bee is further accented with cabochon ruby eyes and yellow gold legs to contrast with the the white gold body. Dimensions: 1.4×2.0cm.
Sapphires approximately 0.48 carats in total. Diamonds approximately 0.45 carats in total, G/H colour, VS clarity. Rubies approximately 0.02 carats in total.
