A beautiful ruby and diamond Scottish terrier dog pin brooch set in 18k yellow gold.
The brooch depicts a standing side view of Scottish terrier which is set with a pavé round brilliant cut diamond collar. The dogs fur has been beautifully hand carved in 18k yellow gold to give the brooch naturalistic features. You’ll see that the maker has really enhanced the key features of the terrier breed such as the iconic bearded face. Lastly, the terrier is accented with two vibrant red ruby eyes and a polished yellow gold nose.
Due to the size and design this brooch would be a perfect addition to a jumper and/or coat. A perfect gift for any dog lover!
The brooch is secured to reverse with a hinged pin and barrel clasp fitting. It measures exactly 4.3 x 3.5 centimetres and has a gross weight of exactly 32 grams. There is a total diamond weight of 0.07 carats which are estimated to be G in colour with VS clarity. The brooch is handmade in England and is hallmarked 18k gold.
