Vintage Angela Cummings for Tiffany & Co Mother of Pearl Bangle

A beautiful vintage Angela Cumings for Tiffany & Co. mother of pearl bangle, set in 18k yellow gold.

From the now discontinued ‘Allure collection’ by Angela Cummings for Tiffany & Co., the bangle is composed of a chunky yellow gold band. The bangle is rub over set throughout with 28 pieces of lustrous mother of pearl which perfectly contrasts against the polished yellow gold. The bangle is fastened with a hidden push tongue clasp mechanism and is fitted on a hinge for ease.

Due to the design and size the bangle could be worn for a variety of occasions. Angela Cummings was renowned for her use of semi-precious materials and her smooth and seamless designs, and this bangle is no exception. The design echo’s that of the 1970’s era perfectly however the piece could be worn for a variety of occasions.

The bracelet is signed and hallmarked on the inside of the hinge. The hallmarks read TIFFANY & CO., 750, HONG KONG. The bangle is slightly oval in shape and measures 4.8 x 5.8 centimetres in diameter. The bangle measures 1.4 centimetres in thickness and there is a gross weight of 68.4 grams.
