A simply stunning Tiffany & Co emerald and diamond tiger brooch set in solid 18k yellow gold; circa 1991. This brooch is a beautiful example of vintage Tiffany & Co craftsmanship and design!
The brooch depicts a walking/creeping tiger and is made of solid 18k yellow gold. The gold has been cleverly crafted to show the tiger’s stripes and fur detailing and the mixture of polished and brushed gold creates a lovely contrast once worn. The tiger wears a 18k white gold collar which is accented with 8 round brilliant cut diamonds. This added diamond detail is subtle yet hugely effective and the tiny diamonds catch the light beautifully. Lastly the tiger has two round cut emerald eyes which are extremely striking against the warm yellow gold.
Estimated total diamond weight is 0.16. Estimated total emerald weight is 0.06.The tiger measures exactly 5.6cm x 2.0cm and weighs 24.85 grams.
