Vintage Cartier Toi-Et-Moi Marquise Diamond Ring

A beautiful vintage Cartier toi-et-moi diamond crossover ring set in 18k yellow gold.

The phrase ‘toi-et-moi’ simply means ‘me and you’ and is famously known for being one of the most romantic ring designs in the jewellery industry. A classic toi-et-moi ring features two stones of a similar size and cut, just like this Cartier piece, these larger stones are to symbolise two souls becoming one.

This piece is a beautiful example of Cartier craftsmanship and is set with two identical marquise brilliant cut stones. To each end of the band we see graduating round brilliant cut diamonds to add further sparkle to the piece.

The pear cut diamonds are estimated to have a combined weight of 0.74 carats. Assessed F/G in colour with VVS-VS clarity. There is a remining diamond weight of 0.20 carats assessed F/G in colour with VS clarity.

This ring is currently a Cartier size 52, UK size L ½ (USA 6) but can be resized upon request (resizing would alter the hallmarking). There is a gross weight of 1.9 grams. The ring is signed and hallmarked Cartier, 750, 52, with the serial number 275685
