Vintage Cartier ‘Perles De Diamant’ Diamond Necklace

A beautiful vintage Cartier ‘Perles De Diamant’ solitaire pendant necklace set in 18k yellow.

From the now discontinued ‘Perles De Diamant’ collection the necklace is predominantly composed of a 0.18 carat diamond, rub over set this bubble/pearl like design. To each side is where the chain is connected and it allows the solitaire pendant to roll with ease on the neck. Interestingly the necklace is fastened with a unique Cartier fastening which can be undone by twisting the fitting. The necklace measures 16 inches in length.

Due to the overall design of this necklace is can be worn for a variety of occasions. The necklace could be worn for everyday as a standalone piece, or alternatively stacked up amongst other necklaces.

There is a total diamond weight of 0.18 carats, estimated F-G in colour, with VVS clarity. For size reference the pendant measures 0.6 centimetres in diameter and there is a total weight of 15.4 grams. The pendant is signed and hallmarked Cartier, 750, 1999 with the serial number L71844. Circa 1999.
