Vintage Cartier Panther Claw Onyx and Diamond Ring

An extremely beautiful vintage Cartier Panther Claw diamond and onyx ring, set in 18k white gold.

This unique looking piece is composed of a large circular motif which is pave set completely with 145 round brilliant cut diamonds. Six onyx panther claws wrap around the base of the ring, creating a fabulous contrast between the stones. Once on the finger the piece truly comes to life and the diamonds catch the light from all angles.

There is a grand total of 145 round brilliant cut diamonds within the ring, having a total diamond weight of 1.70 carats. These diamonds are estimated to be E-F in colour with VVS clarity. The ring is currently a Cartier size 53 (UK size M ½, USA size 6 ¼). This ring can easily be resized for a perfect fit. The piece is signed and stamped Cartier, 750, 53 with serial number 73145a.

For size reference the head of the ring measures 2.1 centimetres in diameter and there is a gross weight of 12.1 grams. The ring is accompanied with a Cartier box however no certificate. A valuation for insurance and authenticity will be provided!
