Vintage Cartier Mimi Sapphire and Diamond Ring in Yellow Gold

A beautiful vintage Cartier Mimi sapphire and diamond ring set in 18k yellow gold, circa 1990s.

From the discontinued Mimi collection, this ring predominantly features an oval cabochon blue sapphire, which is bezel set securely to the centre of the bombé design. Surrounding the sapphire are 36 round brilliant-cut diamonds and 8 smaller cabochon sapphires. The diamond sparkles beautifully and emphasises the contrast of the gold colouring.

Due to its design and size, this piece can be worn for a variety of occasions. It is suitable for both everyday and special occasions.

The estimated total weight of the sapphires is 0.80 carats. The estimated total weight of the diamonds is 1.08 carats, with F-G colour and VVS clarity. For size reference, the ring is currently a Cartier size 54 (UK size N ½, USA size 6 ¾), but this can be sized upon request for a perfect fit. The band measures approximately 0.95 centimetres in width (widest point), with a gross weight of 7.0 grams.
