A beautiful vintage Cartier heart shape emerald and diamond pendant necklace set in 18k yellow and white gold.
The pendant is predominantly set with a beautiful coloured green heart cut emerald which is suspended by a pave set diamond bail. The pendant hangs from a 16-18-inch trace chain which is not signed Cartier.
The contrast of the green against the yellow gold is a classic pairing and is extremely elegant. Due to the pendants size would be a perfect piece to wear every day.
There is a total emerald weight of 0.80 carats. There is a total diamond weight of 0.12 carats, estimated F-G in colour, with VVS clarity. For size reference the pendant measures 0.9 x 1.6 centimetres (bail included) and there is a total weight of 1.0 grams. The pendant is signed and hallmarked Cartier, 750, with the serial number 715759. Circa late 1980’s.
