An extremely beautiful vintage Cartier ‘Panther Claw’ diamond ring, set in 18k yellow gold.
This unique looking piece is composed of a large circular motif, with six panther claws grasping around it. Each panther claw is perfectly pave set with round brilliant cut diamonds which beautifully contrasts against the polish yellow gold. Once on the finger the piece truly comes to life and the diamonds catch the light from all angles.
There is a grand total of 60 round brilliant cut diamonds within the ring, having a total diamond weight of 0.80 carats. These diamonds are estimated to be F-G in colour with VVS clarity. The ring is currently a Cartier size 50 (UK size K, USA size 5 1/4). This ring can easily be resized for a perfect fit. The piece is signed and stamped Cartier, 750, 50 with serial number 80512A.
For size reference the head of the ring measures 2.2 centimetres in diameter and there is a gross weight of 16.5 grams.
