Vintage Cartier Agrafe Chunky Chain Necklace

A beautiful vintage Cartier ‘Agrafe’ chunky chain necklace set in 18k yellow gold.

The piece is composed of an articulated chunky chain design which reflects the light elegantly whilst worn on the neck. The necklace is secured with a hinged hook fitting which folds onto a larger gold loop. This hook fitting can either be worn hidden at the back of the neck or round the front as a pendant ‘feature’.

Due to the design of the piece this could be worn for a variety of occasions. The necklace could be worn for everyday, or alternatively, dressed up for more special occasions.

The chain measures 45 centimetres in length (17.5 inches) and 0.5 centimetres in thickness. The necklace has a gross weight of 67.8 grams. The necklace is signed and hallmarked Cartier, 750, with the serial number 984707. These markings can be found on the hook clasp. The necklace is accompanied with the original Cartier certificate!
