Vintage 1990’s Cartier Sapphire and Diamond Ring

A beautiful vintage 1990’s Cartier diamond and sapphire dress ring set in 18k yellow gold.

Estimated to be from the early 1990’s, the ring is centrally set with a vibrant cabochon blue sapphire. The sapphire is securely four claw set to the centre of a link design which is set with 16 graduating round brilliant cut diamonds. The shoulders on the ring interlock with the link design and flow round nicely to a 2.5-millimetre band.

Due to the design and style, this ring could be worn for a variety of occasions! The contrast of the polished gold against the sapphires and diamonds is superb and stands out beautifully on the hand.

There is an estimated total diamond weight of 0.48 carats. These diamonds are estimated to be G-H in colour with VVS clarity. There is an estimated sapphire weight of 0.70 carats. The ring is currently a Cartier finger size 51 (which converts to a UK L, USA finger size 5 3/4), due to the design this ring can be slightly resized for a perfect fit. The ring is signed and hallmarked Cartier, 750, 51, with the serial number 2381106. French hallmarks can also be found on the back of the band. There is a gross weight of 4.1 grams.
