Vintage Cartier Rutilated Quartz and Diamond Ring

An extremely unique Cartier rutilated quartz and diamond bombe ring set in 18k yellow gold.

The ring is designed as a bombe style and is predominantly set with a round cabochon piece of rutilated quartz. This rutilated quartz has a fantastic array of gold strips running throughout which creates this beautiful illusion once on the hand. To each side of the quartz is a row of 10 round brilliant cut diamonds (20 in total) which add the perfect amount of sparkle to the piece.

Once on the hand the ring truly comes to life! Due to the design, the piece has a beautiful spread across the finger and has the versatility to be worn as a everyday piece or dressed up for me special occasions.

There is an estimated total diamond weight of 0.40 carats which are estimated to be F-G in colour with VS clarity. The ring is currently a Cartier size 49 which converts to a UK size J ½, USA size 4 ¾ but this can be resized for a perfect fit. For size reference the ring head measures 2.1 x 1.6 centimetres and there is a gross weight of 14.9 grams. The ring is signed and hallmarked Cartier, 750, 49, with the serial number AX2950.
