Vintage Sapphire and Diamond Heart Pendant

A beautiful sapphire and diamond heart pendant set in 18k yellow and white gold.

The pendant depicts a heart motif, centrally set with a Australian blue heart cut sapphire. The sapphire is rub-over set in yellow gold and surrounded by 36 round brilliant cut diamonds. The heart hangs from a matching pave set diamond bail.

Once on the pendant truly comes to life. The sapphire stands out beautifully on the neck and the diamonds highlight the dark blue colouring.

There is an estimated sapphire weight of 0.46 carats. There is an estimated diamond weight of 0.30 carats, estimated G-H in colour with VS clarity. For size reference the pendant measures 1.4 x 1.8 centimetres (bail included) and there is a gross weight of 2.8 grams. The pendant is not hallmarked but has been tested for 750 18k gold.
