Diamond and Ruby Dragonfly Pendant Necklace

A beautiful ruby and diamond dragonfly pendant necklace set in 18k yellow gold.

This rather unique piece depicts a naturalistic dragonfly fixed on a simple, yet secure, yellow gold trace chain. Firstly, the body of the insect is composed of graduating invisibly set calibre-cut rubies which are all perfectly matched in colour. The wings of the dragonfly are spread out and sit flat on the neck and are each pavé set throughout with round brilliant cut diamonds. The rest of the dragonfly is polished yellow gold which perfectly contrasts and enhances the colour of the red rubies and white diamonds.

There is an estimated total diamond weight of 0.74 carats. These diamonds are estimated to be G-H in colour with VS-VS1 clarity. There is an estimated ruby weight of 0.42 carats and all are perfectly matched in colour. The pendant measures approximately 2.9 x 2.7 centimetres at its widest points and weighs exactly 5.9 grams.
