Vintage Albert Chain Necklace in 9k Rose Gold

An extremely stylish vintage Albert chain necklace set in 9k rose gold.

The Albert chain is an iconic statement piece of jewellery, popularised by Prince Albert in the mid 1800’s. The chain traditionally was attached to a gentleman’s pocket watch, however in today’s society they are worn as a statement necklace! The chain is composed of mixed openwork stylized links, made of solid 9k rose gold. The chain is fastened to the front by the T-bar with two swivel hook fittings. The original jump ring has been left on to give the wearer the option to add a fob in the future.

The stylized links make this chain extremely unique and gives it the versatility to be worn for a variety of occasions.

The chain measures 42 centimetres in length and there is a gross weight of 33.5 grams. The chain is hallmarked on all the links for 9k gold.
