Antique Old Cushion Cut Diamond Cluster Ring

A beautiful antique old cut diamond cluster ring set in platinum.

The piece is predominately set with a lively old cushion cut diamond which is securely four claw set to centre. Surrounding the old cut is a halo cluster of 20 round brilliant cut diamonds. Further round cut diamonds flow into the shoulders and then to a solid 2-millimetre platinum band.

The true beauty of this piece all lies in the design and the focal point which is the spectacular central old cushion cut diamond. The diamond has been reset in a beautifully designed modern mounting, and the stone is a true one-of-a-kind! Hand cut over 100 years ago means the stone is unique, making this a rare piece to come across. Once worn the piece truly comes to life. Due to the slight elongated cushion shape, the ring elongates the wearers finger which is not only a slimming look but also looks extremely elegant.

The central old cushion cut diamond is estimated at 1.61 carats, I-J in colour with VS2-SI1 clarity. There is a further diamond weight of 0.30 carats within the mount. The ring is currently a UK finger size K (USA size 5 ¼) but this can be resized for a perfect fit. The ring has a total weight of 3.8 grams.
