Retro Vintage Cabochon Ruby and Diamond Cluster Earrings

A stylish pair of vintage retro cabochon ruby and diamond target earrings set in 18k yellow gold and platinum.

Each earring is predominantly composed of a vibrant round cabochon ruby stone which is securely rub over set to centre in yellow gold. Surrounding the ruby are 10 round brilliant cut diamonds, claw set in platinum. The earrings are secured to reverse with a post and butterfly fitting.

Due to the design and size of the earrings they can be worn for a variety of occasions! The contrast of the white diamonds against the vibrant red ruby is beautiful and makes the earrings stand out nicely on the ear.

There is a total diamond weight of 1.00 carat. These diamonds range from G-H in colour with VS-SI clarity. The rubies are cut ‘en cabochon’ and have been beautifully matched in colour; they have a combined carat weight of 2.00 carats. For size reference, the earrings measure 1.2 centimetres in diameter and they have a combined weight of 3.2 grams. Due to their age the earrings are not hallmarked but have been tested for 18k gold and platinum.
