Vintage Amethyst Drop Earrings

A beautiful pair of amethyst drop earrings set in 9k yellow gold.

Each earring solely features an elegant cabochon oval amethyst stone which is securely rub over set. The amethysts have a fantastic colouring and lustre to them which make them stand out beautifully on the ear. The drop hangs from a Shepard’s hook post making them easy to wear.

Due to their design and size these earrings could easily be worn for everyday or dressed up for more special occasions.

For size reference the earrings measure 3.4 x 1.0 centimetres and have a combined weight of 4.9 grams. The amethysts are perfectly matched in colour. The earrings are not hallmarked, indicating that they’re pre-1970’s but have been tested for 9k gold. A valuation for insurance will be provided upon purchase.
