A beautiful pair of contemporary aquamarine and GIA certified diamond drop earrings set in platinum.

Each earring is firstly composed of a certified pear brilliant cut diamond which is three claw set securely. Descending from the diamond is a large pear cut aquamarine stone, set again in a three claw setting. The tone and colouring of the aquamarines is extremely elegant and both stones have been beautifully matched is colour and transparency. The earrings are secured to reverse with a post and butterfly back fitting.

Due to the size and design these earrings have a spectacular presence on the lobe. The aquamarines are on an articulated drop so they move with the wearer.

The aquamarines are beautifully matched being 4.04 carats each (total weight of 8.08 carats). The diamonds are both GIA certified and are identical! They both weigh 0.70 carats each (1.40 carats total), assessed G in colour, with VS2 clarity (Report numbers: 6451748034 and 7462975208). For size reference the earrings measure 2.3 centimetres in length and there is a gross weight of 6.9 grams. Both earrings are hallmarked 950, for platinum with British London markings.
