Contemporary Aquamarine and Diamond Pear Cut Drop Earrings

A beautiful pair of contemporary aquamarine and diamond drop earrings set in platinum.

Each earring is firstly composed of a pear brilliant cut diamond which is three claw set securely. Descending from the diamond is a large pear cut aquamarine stone, set again in a three claw setting. The tone and colouring of the aquamarines is extremely elegant and both stones have been beautifully matched is colour and lustre. The earrings are secured to reverse with a post and alpha back fitting.

Due to the size and design these earrings have a spectacular presence on the lobe. The aquamarines are on an articulated drop so they move with the wearer.

There is a total aquamarine weight of 9.66 carats. There is a total diamond weight of 1.04 carats and these are G in colour with VS2 clarity. For size reference the earrings measure 0.9 x 2.4 centimetres and there is a gross weight of 8.0 grams. Both earrings are hallmarked 950, for platinum with British London markings.
