Each earring is designed as a butterfly with foldable plique-a-jour enamel and gold wings, to a yellow gold body and antennae with naturalistic texture detailing and two round-cut ruby eyes, fitted on a shepherd’s hook. The flexible wings allow the earrings to be worn in several ways, with the wings fully open as if the butterflies were flying, to fully closed as if the butterflies were resting on the ear.
