Vintage 4.93ct Old European Cut Diamond Solitaire Stud Earrings

A magnificent pair of old European cut diamond stud earrings set in platinum.

Matching perfectly in their incredible sparkle and brilliance, each earring features a beautiful old cut diamond which is four claw set securely in an open back setting. The earrings are secured to reverse with a post and butterfly fitting.

What makes these earrings so special is the size and cut! These are old cut diamonds meaning they were cut over 100 years ago by hand (as opposed to being machine cut). This technique means that although similar, no two old cut diamonds are ever the same, which adds to their character and charm!

The diamond earrings are set in a contemporary mounting to enhance their sparkle and shape. Each diamond has been assessed by a laboratory. There is a total diamond weight of 4.93 carats (one being 2.42 carats, the other 2.51 carats), VS1 clarity, O-P in colour. The earrings are matched spectacularly is both size and colour.
